Five-star Lions roar past Hinton
London Lions produced another five-star performance as they were comfortable victors over newly promoted Hinton.

Lions got off to the best possible start after neat play between Kyte and Josh Kennet resulted in the latter scoring from 12 yards out as he curled in a shot into the top left hand corner with the outside of his right boot.
Hinton threatened a little, with Rose helping to repel a short spell of pressure, Lions were in control.
Kyte and Kennet were in the thick of it again and some great play between the pair saw Benji Weinberger open his account from five yards. Within a few minutes it became 3-0 after the inspirational Kennet was provider once again for Weinberger to double his tally after a neat finish.
The second half started at a slow pace and soon after Lions midfielder Anthony Stockman was forced off with an ankle injury; he was replaced by Adam Lipman, with Andy Glynne also being replaced by Lions Under-18 player Louie Greenham, who was making his first team debut.
This sparked Lions back into life and they were soon four goals up after a great move involving Furman and Kennet, which resulted in the Hinton centre-half heading in for an own goal.
Lions made their final change with debutant Tom Prais replacing two-goal Weinberger, and with a few minutes to go, the outstanding Jake Rinsler fed Max Kyte who slotted home from close-range, capping a fantastic team performance that saw Josh Kennet finishing with three assists and a goal.
Lions coach Darren Yarlett said afterwards: “I was very happy with our performance today, the way we moved the ball at times was outstanding and our discipline to do that for long periods is never easy when you have so much possession. I thought Zac Rose had a great game at centre half as well as Jake Rinsler, both have had to get over the disappointment of Berlin very quickly but were very impressive throughout. To see four 18 year olds on the pitch shows the good work we are trying to achieve at the club.”
