GOALKEEPER
David Simnock (Norstar London Raiders B) – Took the captain’s armband and led by example, made two stunning stops to ensure side came away with win

DEFENCE
James Taylor (Faithfold A) – A rock in the Faithfold defence, was pivotal as ten-man Greens upset the odds to beat FC Team
Ezekiel Jacob (Hendon United B) – Stood strong when put under pressure, and was integral to Hendon’s somewhat shock win over Faithfold
Jake Yudelowitz (Norstar London Raiders C) – Another superb defensive performance. Made some crucial interceptions and organised the defence well.
Adam Blin (Oakwood B) – A right-back playing right midfield. A goal, an assist, up and down the right flank all game. Tireless and a man mountain, didn’t deserve to lose.

MIDFIELD:
Dan Alfreds (FC Team C) – Played a part for every single goal and his corner delivery was superb
Oli Henry (Blizzard Storm) – Two goals put pay to title chasers Redbridge, his second a stunning effort direct from the kick-off
Avi Korman (Hendon United A) – Scored an unbelievable equaliser to cap yet another brilliant midfield display – well on course for young player of the year
Richard Alexander (L’Equipe) – A brilliant all-round performance back in the heart of the L’Equipe midfield, covered every bit of ground and could barely move after the game

ATTACK:
Connor Perlmutter (London Lions Blue) –Youngster turned in a mature performance – capped off by netting a match-winning hat-trick
Adam Ellis (Shacharit Donetsk) – Grabbed a match-winning hat-trick to stun title-chasing King Crown

Campaigning

Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
