AC MILL HILL (2) 3 LOS BLANCOS (1) 6
Blancos claimed top spot in style as two goals each from Adam Waters and Simon Moses helped them to this win.
Adam Hersh and Joel Kutner were also on target.
Ben Zloof scored twice for Mill Hill, with Ben Grabiner also on target. Manager Daniel Beresford told jewishnews.co.uk: “We didn’t really get out the blocks having five players missing.
“Although they were the better team today, I thought with a full side out we would have given a a better account of ourselves, but credit to them they played better as a team than us and I wish them the best of luck in the competition and hopefully look forward to meeting them next season.”

PREMIER DIVISION:
FAITHFOLD A 2 NORTH WEST NEASDEN 1
Sunday proved to be an end of the era for the Greens as Zuriel Solomon took charge of the side for the last time.
Going out on a high thanks to goals from Yoni Raeburn and Daryl Phillips, Solomon told jewishnews.co.uk: “It was an emotional day.
“We dominated the game. Although going behind early on, we battled against a team that were happy to play 11 men behind the ball.”
“I also want to say a big thanks to all the boys who played today who were brilliant and gave me a final win on an emotional day.”

FC TEAM A A HARMEN A
MATCH ABANDONED AFTER 75 MINUTES – MATCH TO BE RESCHEDULED
————————–
HENDON UNITED A 2 NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS A 3
The Raiders have all but secured the Premier Division title after they won this thrilling encounter.
Jordan Marks fired them into a deserved first half lead, though two goals in the space of two minutes, minutes after the restart, from Dovi Fehler and Ben Kon turned the game on its head and put Hendon ahead.
Matt Stock leveled almost instantaneously, before Kon got on the scoresheet again, but this time at the wrong end, as Raiders secured the win which moves them level on points with Hendon at the top of the table, but crucially still with two games in hand.
Conceding the title to Raiders, Hendon manager David Garbacz told jewishnews.co.uk: “First and foremost we want to collectively congratulate Raiders on what is now the formality of them winning the league. We gave it our best shot today but we have to concede the better team won on the day – they were too quick for us and just that little bit stronger and for us we needed everyone to perform at the top of their abilities and that just didn’t happen.”

WOODFORD WANDERERS 1 MACCABI LONDON LIONS BLUE 4
The Lions inched closer to securing their status in the top flight as they came away from the bottom side with a victory – which also relegates Woodford.
Will Beresford scored twice, with Harry Franks and James Peter also on target. Player-manager Jamie Kyte told jewishnews.co.uk: “It was a great way to end the season. The first half was poor and we didn’t get out of first gear, but the second half was a completely different matter. James Gold ran riot down the wings assisting with three of the goals, whilst Sam Arghebant and Harry Franks pulled the string in the middle of the park.
“Those three points should keep us up and we now rely on Neasden to lose the majority of their remaining games. Not an ideal situation but we’ll be monitoring the Jewish Press closely over the next month or so.
“Next season will see a big change in players across the park. David Kosky is looking to ply his trade outfield and will likely drop down a few divisions to find a team that can accommodate him. We will also be brining in some fresh faces to strengthen a team that has more or less remained unchanged for the last four years.”
————————–
DIVISION ONE:
BRIXTON OLD BOYS 3 BRADY MACCABI 7
Brady remain on track for a top-three finish after four goals from Matt Frohlich helped them to this thumping win.
Josh Newman, Ben Hildebrand and Elliott Dagul also found the back of the net.
Jamie Kent scored twice for Brixton, with Josh Kalinsky also on target.
————————–
DIVISION TWO:
CATFORD & BROMLEY 3 AC WHETSTONE 5
An emotional day for Whetstone saw them claim victory in what was the club’s last ever game.
Phillipe Auret scored twice, with Jonah Gordon Boyd, Dan Cohen and Aaron Benjamin all finding the back of the net.
Adam Luria, Gary Conway and Sean Preston scored for the Cats.
————————–
FC TEAM C 3 OAKWOOD B 5
Team saw their promotion hopes suffer a might blow as the O’s consolidated their mid-table placing.
Five different scorers got on the scoresheet for the visitors – Elliot Jackson, Adam Blin, Bobbie Cousins, Dan Ash and James Abrams, while Daniel Stanton scored twice for Team, with Adam Stolerman claiming their third.
O’s manager Jason Stein told jewishnews.co.uk: “I was absent yesterday as I undertook a scouting trip to Manchester but when one is bequeathed with an assistant like Marc Conway there is never a need to worry.
————————–
DIVISION THREE:
BOCA JEWNIORS 0 SHACHARIT DONETSK 3
Donestk keep alive their hopes of a top-three finish as they claimed this comfortable win.
Adam Ellis was once again their hero, as helped himself to a hat-trick. Manager Elliot Nussbaum told jewishnews.co.uk: “Under very difficult conditions we led 1-0 at half-time, though knew this wouldn’t be good enough as we would be playing against the wind (which was considerable) in the second half.
“That is when my boys started playing football and with the two centre-backs cleaning up everything, Boca didn’t get a look in, with our goalkeeper being rarely tested.”
————————–
KS REUNITED 2 TEMPLE FORTUNE 2
The bottom two unsurprisingly played out a 2-2 draw, a point which confirms Fortune finishes the season bottom of the table with it being their last game of the season.
Rob Benson scored twice for Fortune, for whom player-manager Jonathan Cohen told jewishnews.co.uk: “It was the definition of a game of two halves – them in the first and us in the second. The pitch was excellent but the conditions were difficult with a very strong wind throughout the 90 minutes. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that kicking with the wind was a significant advantage as the ball kept on racing away, but kicking into the wind was a disadvantage.
“They will think they should have had a penalty in the first half and they were probably right, they also missed a simple chance from just a few yards and probably should have been more than 2-1 ahead at half-time. That being said the second half was one-way traffic in our favour and I don’t know how we only scored one goal. We created chance after chance and put them under real pressure but the winner eluded us. Overall 2-2 was probably the fair result. It was great to see Robert Benson back in a TFFC shirt doing what he does best. He had 4 shots, 3 on target (1 narrowly wide), 2 goals – still a class act and a proper striker. Jon Dubiner was also magnificent for us at centre half and I think won every tackle, header and almost popped up with a winner. Jon has turned out twice for us this season and has been superb.
“We will be back again next year and im convinced with a couple of additions will be higher up the table.”

REAL SOSOBAD 4 FAITHFOLD B 1
Sosobad keep their dreams of a second-placed finished alive as they turned in a stylish performance to beat the Greens.
Barry Green was their main man as he helped himself to a hat-trick, while Adam Goodman also got on the scoresheet.
Manager Daniel Shafron told jewishnews.co.uk: “The team was outstanding today. It was a remarkable display and every player involved was superb from start to finish. We knew what we needed to do in order to keep up our push for promotion and they executed it to near perfection. Special mention to Barry Kane who was unstoppable up top and scored a great hat-trick. He’s one of our own!”
