3 KEY ROLES

NEW NW LONDON CHARITY

EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A NEW NW LONDON CHARITY RECRUITING 3 KEY ROLES STARTING SEPT 2023

Gateways is an educational and vocational provision that supports vulnerable 14-25-year-olds who struggle to remain in mainstream education. These struggles are primarily due to social, emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma and as a result of medical issues.

The Gateways programme launched in 2014 and is the only provision of its kind in the UK Jewish community.

We believe that every young person should have the same opportunity to progress and thrive, regardless of the challenges they face. Gateways delivers a broad range of academic and vocational courses that cater for the interests, abilities and specific needs of the students and will prepare them for a life beyond education.

The aim is for the Gateways charity to encompass two separate pathways to effectively meet the needs of our students. The current part-time provision, serving students aged 14-25 years, will be complemented in 2025/2026 by the new full-time, Ofsted-regulated provision for 14–16 year-olds.

We are recruiting for three exciting roles:

  • FUNDRAISING MANAGER (20 hours per week)
  • OPERATIONS MANAGER (30 – 34.5 hours)
  • FINANCE MANAGER (16 hours per week, increasing to 24 hours per week in year 3)
