A television editor and photographer has died from burns sustained in the Romanian nightclub fire, raising the death toll to 46.

Teodora Maftei died at a hospital in Israel on Monday from burns sustained in the blaze on October 30, ProTV news reported.

Ms Maftei, 36, was also a blogger and was well-known for her photographs.

A Bucharest restaurant had exhibited 23 photos she took in London in August to help raise money for her treatment.

Raed Arafat, an emergency situations official, said on Monday that 10 patients have been safely transported to Britain and Norway for treatment. A total of 13 people died over the weekend.

The nightclub fire in Bucharest erupted after a spark ignited foam decor during a heavy-metal concert in the Colectiv club.
