1. Messenger from Poland[divider]
Sunday 27 April, 3pm. Free, booking recommended. JW3 Cinema
This documentary tells the story of Jan Karski, the brave Polish resistance fighter who informed the Western Allies of the Holocaust. Followed by a post film talk with Holocaust historian David Cesarani OBE and Emmy award winner Martin Smith.

2. Out of Darkness: The Joy of Art [divider]

To mark Yom HaShoah 2014, this exhibition showcases the work of Holocaust survivors who participate in a weekly art class led by award-winning artist Barbara Jackson. Two works by Leon Greenman OBE, the only artist to paint his experiences in Aushwitz, have also been lent to the exhibition by Jewish Museum London.

3. Know Before You Go – Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs [divider]

Art critic and expert Joshua White gives insight into the exciting new Tate Modern exhibition of Matisse’s cut-outs, many of which are on display together for the first time. Joshua will explain how Matisse began ‘cutting into colour’ with scissors and brightly coloured paper to create these vibrant works.

4. Cupcakes [divider]

Launching in UK cinemas this week, this new musical comedy from award-winning director Eytan Fox (Yossi & Jagger, Walk On Water) follows a group of female friends whose song unintentionally ends up as Israel’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Full of feel good music written by the Scissor Sisters’ lyricist Babydaddy, the film will be followed by an interview with Eytan Fox.

5. David Baddiel – Fame: Not the Musical [divider]

For those of you that missed Baddiel’s three night stop at the Southbank Centre in February, here’s another chance to catch his latest solo comedy show. Looking at society’s obsession with fame, Baddiel digs deep through personal stories and cracking gags to share a hilarious insight into the pressures of being in the public eye.

A drop off session for kids aged 5-9 to get creative under the guidance of a professional artist. Little Chagalls will have the chance to make sculptures inspired by Moshe Kadishman and prints inspired by Man Ray.

7. From our Correspondent Panel [divider]

A panel of Middle East correspondents offer insight into the relationship between the UK and Israel-Palestine, discussing the pressures faced on the ground as well as the growing impact of digital media. Panel includes Daniella Peled, Editor at the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, James Rodgers, former BBC foreign correspondent in Gaza and Harriet Sherwood, former Jerusalem bureau chief for The Guardian.
