The Association of Jewish Refugees is asking for help in providing a minyan (quorum of 10 men) for the funeral of a Holocaust refugee at Bushey Old Cemetery on Friday (February 10).

Betty Shane, who has died in a fire aged 91, had almost no family. Her father was murdered at Auschwitz, and she was one of the around 800 survivors in Britain who continue to be given help and assistance by the AJR.

The funeral service takes place at 12 noon and all participants will be welcome to take part in this mitzvah.
