The Apprentice candidates go shopping for Lord Sugar at Grodzinski’s!

BBC camera crew and cast were spotted deep in negotiation at the kosher bakery in Stamford Hill on Tuesday

He always wants them to bring home the dough.

Now Lord Alan Sugar’s latest recruits for The Apprentice are apparently doing exactly that, having been spotted filming at Grodzinski’s in Stamford Hill.

The quartet of smartly-dressed candidates seemed deep in negotiations with manager Volvi Kuperstein at the kosher bakery, when cast and crew turned up on Tuesday.

While the contents of the boxes remain unknown, Grodzinski’s is particularly noted for its challah, as well as its babka, bagels and sweet patisseries.

The sighting of candidates out and about and making deals will no doubt come as good news to fans eagerly anticipating the new series of the hit BBC show.

Speaking ahead of the last series, Lord Sugar told the Jewish News that he still gets a “great buzz” from helping young entrepreneurs, more than a decade since the popular BBC show first began.

“There are winners and losers in this process, but for the winners it’s changed their lives – and that’s what I do this for.

“I enjoy watching these young people grow a business from scratch, which is what I did 50 odd years ago. For the winners, it’s changed their lives. They are doing very, very well. They’ve bought houses, got married and had families. They’ve got security and they’re employing people and that’s what motivates me to keep going with it.”

This year’s candidates seemed pensive as they tried to strike a deal

Leah Totton, winner of the 2013 series, is reportedly on track to make her first million with her drop-in cosmetic surgeries, while Tom Pellereau, winner of the seventh series, has seen his Stylfile nail care product firm generate a turnover of £1.5 million.

Meanwhile last year’s winner, Alana Spencer, has just unveiled her website and subscription service for her luxury cake brand, Ridiculously Rich.
