Arsenal agrees major global partnership with Israeli co-founded Deel
The leading HR and payroll platform becomes the Premier League club's official HR partner as the company moves into global sport
Israeli-founded HR tech giant Deel has signed a landmark multi-year partnership with Arsenal, becoming the Premier League club’s Official HR platform partner.
The agreement marks Deel’s first major venture into world sport and reflects the company’s ambition to grow its global presence. Deel branding will appear across the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal’s digital channels throughout the Premier League, Women’s Super League, FA Cup and League Cup.
Deel was founded in 2019 by Israeli entrepreneur Alex Bouaziz, together with Shuo Wang, who was born and raised in China, and has since grown into one of the world’s dominant HR and payroll platforms. Today the company is valued at $17.3 billion and serves more than 37,000 companies and 1.5 million workers globally.
Bouaziz said: “Arsenal is one of the most iconic clubs in world sport, followed by millions and competing at the highest level, which makes this partnership a natural fit with our own global ambition.
“We are proud to welcome Arsenal as a Deel customer, and support the club’s HR operations. This partnership is a milestone for us and places Deel at the heart of global football, connecting our platform with supporters and professionals in every corner of the world.”
While the club has only confirmed the HR partnership, according to reports on social media, a separate agreement is in place for Deel to take over Arsenal’s shirt-sleeve sponsorship from the 2026-27 season, replacing Visit Rwanda once that deal expires.
Commenting on the partnership, Arsenal chief commercial officer Juliet Slot said: “We’re delighted to welcome Deel to our Arsenal family – a brilliant and innovative team who will bring so much to what we’re trying to achieve at our club. Their global platform matches the scale of our ambition and operations, and their investment will continue to power our growth. We’re looking forward to many successful seasons together.”
Alex Bouaziz completed a BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion before going on to earn a Master’s degree in the same field at MIT, with additional studies at MIT Sloan and Harvard Business School.
For Israel’s tech community, Deel’s partnership with one of the world’s most watched football clubs underscores the increasing global impact of Israeli-founded companies. It also strengthens Deel’s presence in the UK as the company accelerates its European expansion.
With its AI-powered all-in-one HR platform supporting teams in more than 150 countries, Deel’s move into elite sport reflects a strategic push to align with globally recognised brands, solidifying its status as one of the most valuable private tech companies to emerge from Israel.
