Arsenal names Deel as its new shirt sleeve sponsor
Global payroll giant deepens partnership with the club as Israeli co-founder Alex Bouaziz jokes that, despite being a PSG fan, he grew up idolising Arsène Wenger and “the Invincibles”
Arsenal has named Israeli-founded Deel as its new official shirt sleeve partner from the 2026/27 season, deepening the relationship between the Premier League club and one of the world’s fastest-growing HR technology companies.
Under the multi-year agreement, Deel’s logo will appear on the left sleeve of Arsenal’s home, away and third kits from next season, becoming only the second global brand ever to feature on the sleeve of one of football’s most recognisable shirts.
The deal expands a partnership first announced in December 2025, when Deel became Arsenal’s Official HR Platform Partner.
Deel was founded in 2019 by Israeli entrepreneur Alex Bouaziz, together with Shuo Wang, who was born and raised in China, and has grown into one of the world’s dominant HR and payroll platforms.
The company employs staff around the world and now supports more than 40,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers across 150 countries. Last year, the company was valued at $17.3 billion following a Series E funding round.
Bouaziz described the sleeve sponsorship as a “proud moment” for the company.
“When we partnered with Arsenal last year, we said this was just the beginning.
“Arsenal and Deel are already working closely together, and the club will be rolling out Deel’s platform across its workforce and HR operations in the coming months.
“Having our name on one of the most iconic shirts in world football is a proud moment for everyone at Deel, and a reflection of a partnership built on shared global ambition.”
In a LinkedIn post following the announcement, Bouaziz, who was born in France but grew up between Paris and Tel Aviv, also joked about his football loyalties as Arsenal prepare to play French-side Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League at the end of the month.
“Yes, I’m a PSG fan,” he wrote. “But like every French kid, I grew up dreaming in front of Arsène, Titi [Thierry Henry] and the Invincibles.”
The announcement was accompanied by a new Arsenal campaign film titled Patchmaker, featuring striker Viktor Gyökeres and former player Patrick Vieira.
Juliet Slot, Arsenal’s chief commercial officer, said: “Our iconic kit and sleeve is one of the most visible positions in world football, and we’re delighted to be welcoming Deel’s name there after they joined our family earlier this year.”
She added that Deel would also support Arsenal’s internal operations as the club rolls out the platform across its workforce and HR systems.
The partnership marks another major visibility boost for Deel as it continues expanding globally and building its profile beyond the technology sector.
Bouaziz, who co-founded the company in 2019, has become one of the most prominent Israeli figures in global tech after Deel’s rapid rise in the HR and payroll market.
