British Airways helps bring Israel to life in culture show

Cabin crew keen to explain Israeli culture

Israeli culture was “brought to life” at a British Airways cultural roadshow this week.

The two-day event features crew members and rabbi, and celebrated the airline’s 80-year history flying the route.

“This is a great opportunity for us to bring Israeli culture to life for our cabin crew,” said crew member Spencer Barnett.

“Israel is a really important route for BA. We’ve flown there for more than 80 years and it’s our Middle Eastern route with the most frequencies.”

Rabbi Hershi Vogel, Chaplain to Heathrow Airport and a representative of the Israel Government Tourism Board, said: “It is lovely to see British Airways inviting their crew community to learn more about what Israel has to offer.”
