FASHION

Being stuck in economic doldrums doesn’t mean we have to pass on purchasing new clothes

As the new season sweeps in, the new season fashion arrives too

No matter how high our heels, the cost of living is biting at them. At a time when a coat of armour or a cardigan feels like suitable attire to get through a winter of buckling down the hatches to keep in the heat, knowing what’s on trend feels trivial. But it will always be a guilty pleasure. To get dressed is why we get up in the morning and keeping the fashion business in business is also part of our civic duty. Chances are you might already own some of Autumn/Winter 2022’s runway favourites as fashion rotates and style no longer has a sell-by date. Anything goes in the 2020’s which is why you always need another pair of Suzy D joggers. The frippery of fashion makes life fun and we all need some of that right now. So here are some seasonal suggestions to follow or use to stoke the fire.
