Three pupils from Beit Shvidler Primary School have topped The Elms National Championship Leaderboard for September-December 2017.

Finishing ahead of more than 4,000 participants, 11-year-old Avital Levine came out on top, winning £100 and one term’s free sports course. Ayelet Bloch and Gila Youngerwood, both 10, finished in second and third respectively, winning £75 and £50, together with the free sport course.

Scored on performance, attitude, work ethic, teamwork and improvement from various PE lessons and extra-curricular activities,  Eliezer Segal, PE Lead at BSPS, said: “We’re thrilled with and very proud of the girls’ achievements in fitness, social skills and teamwork in their school sports clubs and PE lessons.”

The school received money to purchase school equipment and was also presented with a certificate of Outstanding Achievement for finishing in the top three, with all the prizes presented at a school assembly by Elms’ Head of Operations, Jason O’Connor.
