Board president hopeful Rosenberg emails first 100 days pledge

Board presidential hopeful Phil Rosenberg has emailed a plan to Deputies on how he suggests he would spend his first 100 days in office if elected into the role.

Setting out a proposed itinerary, the Brondesbury Park deputy pledged to visit Manchester first to spend Shabbat in the region outlining a plan to widen the Board’s influence.

He also says he will launch a Commission on Antisemitism that would begin a widespread review on changes that could made to combat the issue.

Other plans include a meeting with the Israeli ambassador to “work together to secure the release of the hostages” and a further “solidarity mission” to the Jewish state within three months.

Rosenberg’s email mirrors a similar question put to all presidential hopefuls at earlier presidential hustings.

Also standing for election to replace outgoing president Marie van der Zyl on May 12th are Amanda Bowman, Michael Ziff and Sheila Gewolb.
