Board’s head of public affairs to become associate director at The PR Office

Philip Rosenberg – currently director of public affairs at the Board of Deputies – is leaving the organisation to become associate director at The PR Office agency.

Rosenberg, who has become a high profile name at the Board during his eight years at the communal body – will join the leading agency in January.

The PR Office’s portfolio stretches across many sectors, both outside and within the Jewish community.

Clients include law, technology and accountancy firms, and it also offer crisis management and more formal advice to numerous high profile individuals and businesses across the globe.

During his time at the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Philip has played a leading role in the UK Jewish community’s response to antisemitism in the Labour Party, Brexit and the coronavirus pandemic. He has worked with the diplomatic corps in London to maximise opportunities for peace following the Abraham Accords; with different faith communities to promote community cohesion; and, through the Board’s ground-breaking “Commission on Racial Inclusivity in the Jewish Community”, oversaw a meaningful reaction to the murder of George Floyd.
