Beram Kayal and Tomer Hemed discuss their friendship in a video for Show Racism the Red Card

Brighton & Hove Albion’s two Israeli footballers Beram Kayal and Tomer Homed feature on a new Show Racism the Red Card video.

The pair, an Arab-Israeli and Israeli, discuss how they met, grew up together and more importantly, how they hope they’re an example of showing how people from different religions and backgrounds can get on together.

The duo, who both represent Israel, and helped the Seagulls earn promotion to the Premier League last season, are currently both sidelined.

Midfielder Kayal is out through injury, which he picked up during pre-season, while striker Hemed is serving a three-match ban, from an incident during their 1-0 win over Newcastle, which also saw him score the winning goal.
