Brilliant Redbridge put six past Brady
Jon Jacobs side keep pressure on the leaders Oakwood with emphatic win.
With seven games in hand over league leaders and 17 points behind, it was vital that Redbridge turned on the style and got the three points they needed to put some pressure on Oakwood.

The game started at a fast pace and Redbridge were into their groove very quickly. The partnership of Ryan Cole at left-back and Daniel Garfinkle wide left was causing numerous problems for the Brady back line and this led to the first two goals with magnificent through balls by the irrepressible star of the show, Cole finding Garfinkle and for once, he was coolness personified, lifting the first over the goalkeeper, before providing a smart finish for the second.
The third arrived on the half-hour mark, with a deflected finish by top scorer Dean Nyman. It was a mark of how dominant the game was for Redbridge in that Reiss Mogilner was dropping back into centre-midfield, which made it very comfortable for the RJC backline. Half-time was a reminder that RJC have made heavy weather of that scoreline before, so the foot was to stay on the Brady throat from the whistle.
The fourth goal came from a driven shot by Ben Sollosi, whilst the game was over as a spectacle by the time younger brother Sam Sollosi went on a mazy run, and for once was upended and the referee saw it and awarded a deserved penalty, which was converted by captain Daniel Berg. Nate Kashket came on for the last 15 minutes and those fresh legs were put to good use with a beautiful 30-yard hit that went in off the celebrating Dean Nyman who diverted it in.
There should have been a hat-trick for Dean Nyman and with a smart square ball by Garfinkle, the tap in was Nyman’s for a hat-trick. The referee saw it differently and adopting the Rachmunus rule, awarded an offside decision. The Rachmunus rule was applied at the final kick with a consolation penalty converted by Mogilner .
