British funding for Israeli shelter for abused women
The charity’s first purpose-built shelter, the building will accommodate families from a diverse set of backgrounds, including Arab, Israeli, Ethiopian, Russian and Ukrainian, and will cater for women and children who have been the subjects of domestic violence and abuse.

Charity chairman Ruth Rasnic said: “Residents receive empathy and compassion, legal aid, medical direction, help in locating new homes and assistance with furniture.”
