Calling all smoked salmon bagels for cross-cultural choir

A new cross-cultural choir created as part of the Three Faiths Forum has appealed to “smoked salmon bagels and chicken baltis” with a love of music to come and join in.

The Mixed Up Chorus is a new non-auditioned initiative that held its first rehearsal two weeks ago.

Choir conductor Jeremy Haneman said: “Wherever you were born, whatever your beliefs, whether you’re a smoked salmon bagel or a chicken balti, the more we do together, the more we understand and benefit from each other.”

New member Keith Gray said: “It’s wonderfully liberating both personally and culturally. If you put a bunch of strangers together, from all walks of life, with very different beliefs for two hours each week something amazing will take place.”
