Community Care Organiser

Kol Chai Reform Jewish Community is looking for a paid Community Care Organiser to join our team, working closely with the existing Care and Bereavement Groups and the Rabbi to support members of the congregation and their families/carers. This is a fantastic new opportunity for someone motivated and enthusiastic to become a key part of our community.

The role will require a working knowledge of statutory and other care agencies, including Jewish Care and JAMI in order to be an effective resource and to help signpost members to appropriate organisations. The successful candidate will have experience of working with a range of vulnerable people of different ages and in different situations and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours: 2/2.5 days/week (flexible to include evenings and weekends where
necessary)

Salary: up to £30,000/pro rata depending on experience
