Community memorial for the worst tragedy to befall the Jewish people since the Shoah

Ten Jewish organisations have organised a community memorial for the victims of the Hamas terrorist attacks.

The sombre evening service, taking place in north west London on Monday 16th October, 6.30pm – 8.30pm, has been organised by British Jewish organisations involved in Choose Democracy.

The event will include prayers, music, poems, readings and hearing from people directly impacted by loss and concern for hostages. There will be no political speeches or representatives from the Israeli or UK governments or political parties.

As well as memorialising the victims of this heinous attack on Jews, the ceremony will honour victims of the attack from all faiths and nationalities that were murdered.

The ceremony is being organised by Arzenu, Habonim Dror, the Jewish Labour Movement, LJY-Netzer, Masorti Judaism, New Israel Fund, Noam, Progressive Judaism, RSY-Netzer and Yachad.

The event venue will be confirmed after registration. There is a suggested donation of £5 per person, will all funds raised going to the Magen David Adom Crisis appeal.
