Conservative candidates for London Mayor outline Jewish community credentials
Susan Hall AM and Mozammel Hossain KC have written to Conservative Friends of Israel
The two remaining Conservative party candidates for London Mayor have appealed for support from the capital’s Jews.
Susan Hall and Mozammel Hossain each wrote messages for Conservative Friends of Israel.
Harrow Councillor Hall described herself as a “longstanding friend and supporter of Israel and the Jewish community” and referred to the BDS movement as “pernicious” which “does nothing to advance peace”.
Criminal barrister Moz Hossain KC, who has vowed to “defeat Sadiq, cut crime, and make London more affordable, wrote that he “vehemently oppose[s] Israel boycotts” and that “it is completely unacceptable that in recent years British Jews have experienced a rise in antisemitism”.
The election for London Mayor is on Thursday 2 May 2024.
