A Jewish man supported with independent living by the charity Kisharon has been recognised for his work in aid of the Hospital Kosher Meals Service (HKMS).

Eli Sulzbacher, a Kisharon supported living resident, was given an award by Tottenham MP David Lammy at the House of Commons this week, in recognition of his charity work.

Eli was chosen to be a part of an HKMS group visit to the House of Commons, having participated in the charity’s annual sponsored walk for the past 20 years along with his father Leo.

Earlier this year, he raised £260 for the 25km walk from Uxbridge to Kings Langley following the Grand Union Canal, which the pair completed together with Eli’s long-term support worker Moshe Perry.
