Liora Argamani, the mother of 26-year-old Israeli woman Noa, has videotaped her dying wish: to have her daughter released from Hamas captivity in Gaza.

Noa was kidnapped by Hamas at the Nova music festival on 7 October and was filmed sitting on a motorbike with terrorists, screaming: “Don’t kill me.”

Liora, who is terminally ill with stage 4 brain cancer, said in the newly recorded video message: “I am the mother of Noa, the beautiful girl, who was kidnapped on October 7 by Hamas to Gaza. I have brain cancer, I don’t know how long I have left. I wish for the chance to see my Noa, at home.

“I call on President Biden and the Red Cross to bring back my Noa as soon as possible so that I get the chance to see her. Noa, I want to tell you: if I don’t get to see you, please know that I love you very much. Please know we did everything we could to get you released. The whole world loves you,” she added.

Noa’s father, Yakov, told Mail on Sunday that he got a message from one of her friends shortly after she was kidnapped, telling him about the video.

“But, you know, a father doesn’t want to believe. I thought maybe it was a blurry video. I hoped it was. I hoped it wasn’t really her. ‘I watched the video and I saw right away it was Noa. She was scared, petrified, and so was her boyfriend. A video like that of your daughter breaks someone, especially when my wife is in the state she is in,” he said in an interview with Mail on Sunday earlier this month.

“I don’t even have the words to explain to you what we are going through. I am lucky to have my family around me to surround me in love but I sleep alone with my thoughts which drown me,” he added.

Noa is yet to be released as part of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, but her parents, Liora and Yakov, refuse to give up hope, and has fought every day since 7 October to get their daughter back.
