EasyJet has resumed its flights to Tel Aviv.

Low-fare airline easyJet has resumed flights to Israel having suspended services earlier this week following a rocket attack close to Tel Aviv airport.

The budget carrier has recommenced normal services between London and Tel Aviv today.

British Airways has been carrying on with its twice-daily London-Tel Aviv services.

EasyJet said today that it was restarting flights following the lifting of the instruction to American carriers not to fly to Israel issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The European Aviation Safety Agency also changed its previous advice about not flying toIsrael.

Among European airlines, Air France and German carrier Lufthansa had suspended their Israel services.

EasyJet flies to Tel Aviv from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports, as well as from European bases.

EasyJet said: “We will continue to monitor the safety advice on travel to and from Tel Aviv from all relevant authorities.”
