EasyJet suspends flights to Israel amid Iran escalation

'As a result of the ongoing and developing situation in Israel, EasyJet has made a decision to suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the rest of the summer season – until October 27'

EasyJet is suspending flights to Tel Aviv until October 27, the British low-cost airline announced on Tuesday.

“As a result of the ongoing and developing situation in Israel, EasyJet has made a decision to suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the rest of the summer season – until October 27,” the airline said

Passengers who have bought tickets for this period will be offered a full refund as well as other options.

EasyJet is the latest airline to cancel flights to Israel following an Iranian missile and drone attack on Saturday sparked unrest and fear of a wider regional war.

Germany’s Lufthansa and Dutch KLM also canceled flights to Israel until Tuesday this week.

United Airlines cancelled Sunday and Monday flights to Tel Aviv from Newark.
