Fly to Israel for just £21.99, but there’s a catch…

Eilat's big four hotels along the Red Sea coastline.
Eilat, here we come!

We all want to get to Israel cheaply, so it’s great news that Ryanair has announced its first routes to Israel, for just over £20.

The minor catch, is it’s via three European destinations, none of which are the UK.

For just €29.99 (roughly £21.99) Ryanair will run a route to Israel from Budapest in Hungary, Kaunas in Lithuania and Krakow in Poland.

The routes will deliver the service to an estimated 40,000 customers a year, according to the airline – to and from Eilat Ovda airport, in the South of Israel.

Each of the routes will run twice a week, and Ryanair have outlined they will continue to negotiate for future routes to the Jewish State.

The service will become available to book from 8 July, for travel in early November.

Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer,David O’Brian said the airline “is pleased to announce our entry into the Israeli market from November 2015, our 31st country.”
