Foreman makes winning return to the ring
Stepping back into the ring having quit in 2013, the former junior middleweight boxing champion, is also a newly ordained Orthodox rabbi, and won a close eight-round encounter, with all three judges giving him a 77-75 points win in the Super Welterweight bout at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Thanking his fans after the fight, he said: “Thank you all for the support and all the love you showed me. It felt great to be back in the ring after a two-year break.
“Thanks to my coaches who prepared me for this fight. Thank G-d and thanks for all the friends who showed up, said a prayer and sent good vibes! Have a happy Chanukah!”
