Four arrested for ‘anti-Semitic’ abuse and pelting eggs at Orthodox man

Arrests have been made after an alleged anti-Semitic incident took place in the early hours of this morning.

A 28-year-old Jewish man was driving through the Blackwall Tunnel at 1.30am when another car began to drive alongside him.

Reported on Twitter by Stamford Hill’s volunteer neighborhood watch group Shomrim, the occupants of the car are understood to have shouted anti-Semitic abuse at him through the window and thrown eggs at the car.

Four men, aged between 20 and 22, are currently in custody.
