Fritz fails to reach boys’ doubles final

Taylor Fritz failed to reach the final of the boys’ doubles tournament at Wimbledon after he and Michael Mmoh were beaten in Saturday’s semi-final in straight sets.

Having lost at the same stage in the singles competition to American Reilly Opelka, Fritz and Mmoh, the number one seeds, were up against Opelka and Japan’s Akira Santillan, though fell to a 6-3, 6-4 defeat.
