FundRAISE your tent during lockdown!

Snuggle down in a sleeping bag to support Camp Simcha and its work supporting families with seriously ill children

Camp Simcha are putting the fun into lockdown next Sunday when they host ‘Camp In 4 Camp Simcha’ for children and teens.

The charity has partnered with Jewish News and organised a fundraising event on Sunday May 3 which is aimed at those who will enjoy setting up a tent in the house or garden  to raise funds for the charity’s work supporting families with seriously ill children.

There will be dedicated online entertainment to kick-off the evening at 7pm for the younger age group and at 10pm for teens and young adults, with a VIP welcome at 11pm.

Families supported by Camp Simcha are also being invited to join in and enjoy the entertainment too.

Camp Simcha Director of Fundraising Shoshana Copeland says: “We are all looking for different ways to keep our kids entertained during lockdown and this is a great way to have some fun, feel connected to an event and raise funds for families who really need our support right now. It doesn’t have to be hard work for parents – if pitching a tent in the garden is a step too far, a sleeping bag in the lounge is just as much fun.”

Registration is £4 per child although families are invited to try to raise more – with those reaching a target of £40 or more, earning a Camp Simcha teddy.
