The course, which also hosts the Maccabiah golf tournament, will see players from the tour – young professionals who use it to gain experience for higher levels including the Challenge and European Tours – compete for the Israel Masters Champion, with a winning prize of 70,000 euros up for grabs.

IGF President Avi Dagan said: “The Israel Golf Federation and the Caesarea Golf Club, together with the Israeli Ministry of Sports and Culture as well as the Tourism Office, are fully committed to making this world premiere a success, and to ensuring its re-occurrence on a yearly basis.”

The six-day tournament takes place between 20-26 October.
