A new UK-based social enterprise has launched a crowd-funding campaign to raise £3,000 by 15th January to move a truckload of humanitarian aid to homeless Jewish and non Jewish families Ukraine.

Goods4Good, led by Jewish charity veteran Rosalind Bluestone, is trying to deliver 500 boxes of consumer goods to families in the east of the country, which has suffered a Russian-backed insurgency.

Companies including Harrods, Regatta and Next have donated nappies, incontinence pads, clothing, bedding, food, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, toys, and furniture.

“These companies want to do good with their goods,” said Bluestone. “But we also need help from ordinary people to help get those vital necessities directly to those in need.”
