Heathrow Terminal 4 goes blue and white to welcome El Al to its new home!

Airside lights at Heathrow’s Terminal 4 shone blue and white at the weekend, as the airport welcomed Israel’s national airline El Al to its new London home.

Passengers leaving for Tel Aviv were greeted by Beefeaters at the flag carrier’s freshly renovated check-in area, with Business Class travellers hosted in the new Premium Lounge.

El Al, with 26 flights to London every week, was asked to call time on 30 years’ flying from Terminal 1 ahead of the area’s closure this summer. Just less than half its flights are through Heathrow, the rest through Luton.
