A high tech scholarship has been launched for students from Indian and Jewish communities.

Recipients of the award will travel to India and Israel, all-expenses-paid, to study their world-leading industries, before reporting back to the Indian Jewish Association.

The association, which launched the scholarship on 22 June at a private reception hosted by Investec, was founded in 1996 to draw together most creative personalities in the two communities.

Key speakers at recent events have included leading lawyers, Henry Grunwald QC and Professor Satvinder Juss; communal benefactors Professor Nathu Puri and Sir Mick Davis; former Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, the Rt Hon Sir Eric Pickles MP; former Indian High Commissioner HE Ranjan Mathai and Deputy Israel Ambassador HE Eitan Na’eh.

Applicants should email the Indian Jewish Association UK at: info@indianjewishassociation.co.uk attaching a CV detailing current employment or university affiliation, academic qualifications, home address and contact details.
