Hip Hoop Hurray! Popular snack gets kosher approval
Sephardi Kashrut Authority (SKA) offers Hula Hoop Original fans a reason to celebrate
The Sephardi Kashrut Authority has approved all sizes of Hula Hoops original as Kosher Pareve.
Rabbi David Neifeld, SKA director of operations said: “SKA works around the clock to make Kosher food as accessible as possible without compromising on Halacha (Jewish Law). We have carried out extensive research into this product and are delighted that we can give our approval”.
The news comes three months after the Kosher London Beth Din (KLBD), which falls under the auspices of the United Synagogue and Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, announced that ready salted crisps by Aldi Snackrite, ASDA, Lidl Snaktastic, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Tesco Stockwell & Co are now approved Parev.
Consumers will be delighted they no longer have to jump through hoops to enjoy the age-old crisp favourite.
