Home Office bans American neo-Nazi from entering UK
Jewish groups have welcomed a Home Office decision to stop a Jew-hating white supremacist from the United States from entering the UK.
Ohio resident Matthew Heimbach, 24, was told he could not enter the country on account of his “unacceptable behaviour” after concerns were raised about his beliefs and comments.
Among his most recent comments was a tweet, sent last week, saying: “The only victors of World War II were globalist Jews #NoMoreBrotherWars #EuropeansUnite #StopZionism #Nationalism.”
A spokesman for the Community Security Trust (CST) took to Twitter to thank the Home Office “for excluding neo-Nazi Matthew Heimbach from UK for anti-Semitism and inciting hatred of Jews”.
His Home Office letter said he was “excluded from the UK on the grounds that your presence here would not be conducive to the public good”. It added that the Home Secretary felt his behaviour “may foster hatred which might leader to inter-community violence in the UK”.
