‘Humiliated’: Israeli model kicked out of Egyptian hotel

Israeli model Shay Zanco was allegedly asked to leave a hotel in Egypt after staff found out she was Israeli.
Walla Celebs, which first broke the story, reported that Zanco had travelled to Egypt to accompany rapper Travis Scott during his upcoming concert.
When Scott’s concert was cancelled, Zanco decided to stay in Egypt and explore the country as a tourist. The Israeli model said she was asked to leave the hotel immediately after staff discovered her background.
“I was very stressed and felt really humiliated. In the four years I’ve been (in the spotlight), I’ve never felt antisemitism or faced any problems because I’m Jewish and Israeli,” Zanco said.
“This time it was something different. I left the hotel straight to the airport and caught the only flight there was to Paris, even though I had a photo shoot in Barcelona,” the model added.
