Idina Menzel set to charm youngsters with CBeebies Bedtime Story

The Frozen actress, who received a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame this week, will read Robin’s Winter Song by Suzanne Barton

Are you sitting comfortably? Frozen star Idina Menzel is set to charm pre-school youngsters with her appearance on CBeebies Bedtime Story, this weekend.

The American-Jewish Broadway, television and film star, who lends her vocals as ice queen Elsa in Disney’s Frozen, will read Robin’s Winter Song by Suzanne Barton, the story of a little robin’s first winter.

Her appearance comes just after she and co-star Kristen Bell were honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week – and days before the release of the much-anticipated Frozen 2.

Menzel, who was a recurring character on the television show Glee and starred in the original Broadway run of Wicked joins the long list of celebrities who have presented a CBeebies Bedtime Story, including Tom Hardy, Orlando Bloom, Isla Fisher, Dolly Parton, Sir Elton John and George Ezra.

Her CBeebies Bedtime Story will be broadcast on Sunday 24 November at 6.50pm on CBeebies.
