Immanuel College names new headteacher

Joanna Ebner, currently headmistress of a preparatory school in Kensington, will join the leading Jewish day school in Bushey next September.

Immanuel College has named Joanna Ebner, currently headmistress of a preparatory school in Kensington, as its new headteacher.

Ebner, who will join the leading Jewish day school in Bushey next September, has been a headteacher for the past 16 years and has worked in a range of educational environments in London. She is currently at Thomas’s Kensington, part of the Thomas’s London Day Schools’ Group. Prior to that she was headmistress of The Royal School, a girls’ day and boarding school in Hampstead.

Miss Ebner has an outstanding track record of growing and developing schools and is personally engaged in the heart of the Jewish community. We believe she is extremely well placed to build on Immanuel’s past successes by creating and implementing a visionary strategic plan to take Immanuel forward to new heights over the next 5-10 years. We welcome her enthusiastically as our new head.”
