In pictures: Jewish Blind and Disabled is shaken, not stirred

More than 140 people piled into Cineworld in Staples Corner last week to catch the first glimpse of the new James Bond film Spectre, while raising money for Jewish Blind & Disabled.

The event, which brought in almost £4,000 for the charity, was organised by the Young JBD committee.

As well as watching actors Daniel Craig and Léa Seydoux, the audience also viewed a short film about the organisation’s work, featuring Marc, who needed specialist developments after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

“It was wonderful to see so many people turn out to support us,” said chief executive Hazel Kaye.

“The money raised will help us continue to enable people with physical disabilities or impaired vision to live independently.”
