Israel embassy terror plot revealed

Two Muslim men have been charged with planning a “massive act of violence” against the Israeli embassy in Berlin.

One of the two 21-year-old men is believed to have been motivated by Islamic State, and the public prosecutor in the German capital alleges that they assembled weapons similar to those used in the Tunisia beach attacks.

The accused, named only as Mohamed El-N and Ali El-I, are believed to have been planning an attack on Berlin’s Israeli Embassy or another Israeli institution between December 2014 and July this year.

Prosecutors also say that IS propaganda was found on Ali EL-I’s mobile phone, and that the two men planned to use explosives.
