Jewish Leadership Council admits two new social care organisations

Two new social care organisations have been admitted on to the Jewish Leadership Council.

Jewish Women’s Aid, which cares for those with victims of domestic abuse, and Langdon, which supports young adults with learning difficulties, become the latest additions to the council of membership.

Expressing delight at the additions, Sir Mick Davis, Chairman of the JLC, said: “We have added four new members in 2014 and now two in 2015. This brings the total number of members of the JLC to 31. We are delivering on our commitment to be more representative of the community’s institutions.”

The organisations will be represented by Hilda Worth and Jonathan Joseph respectively.
