—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
David Grossman (FC Team B) – Made some outstanding saves especially a one on one with team already 0-2 down and scored vital penalty

DEFENCE
Josh Tiano (North West Neasden) – Up against tough opposition in Raiders’ right winger, but did superbly to keep him quiet for most of the game.
Michael Sacks (AFC Flixton) – Rock-solid at the heart of Flixton’s defence as they held firm against Harmen to book their place in Peter Morrison Cup final
Adam Tauber (AFC Flixton) – Other half of the Flixton defence, kept Harmen strike force quiet and was composed and solid throughout
Gideon Chain (L’Equipe) – Put in another brilliant performance at right-back, nothing got through him and he was up and down the wing for 90 minutes

MIDFIELD:
Jon Breger (FC Team B) – A real captain’s performance, drove the team forward and was solid in defence
Ari Last (Hendon United A) – Hendon’s skipper and leader was well and truly back to his imperious best as he totally dominated midfield
Sam Sollosi (Redbridge A) – Made a welcome return to the team, showed how to run a game and capped his performance off with a thunderbolt of a strike
Greg Corin (Hendon United A) – Another magnificent performance of amazing dribbling and vision. His manager describes him as being ‘surely one of the most silky-smooth operators in this league’.

ATTACK:
David Dinkin (Norstar London Raiders A) – Was at his clinical best, kept his composure to score two penalties as part of a match-winning hat-trick which secured Raiders the title.
Daniel Garfinkle (Redbridge A) – Scored five times, had goals and pace to burn against a tiring defence who couldn’t keep up with him

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
