GOALKEEPER
Jake Doffman (North London Raiders A) – Pulled off a string of superb saves to prevent his side losing by a greater margin

DEFENCE
Lee Warner (Oakwood A) – Gave an outstanding performance at left-back that included two assists
Zach Perez (Mill Hill Dons) – Was cool, calm and collected on the ball and prevented The Dons suffering a heavier defeat
Jake Marks (Temple Fortune) – Fully deserved scoring the winner on his debut as he took his great pre-season form into the first game of the season
Elliot Gold (Woodford Wanderers) – Put in his best ever performance in a Woodford shirt, hailed by his manager and didn’t deserve to be on the losing side

MIDFIELD:
Josh Aziz (Finchley City) – Captain gave an exemplary performance. Covered every blade of grass, won every tackle and topped it off by scoring a 25-yard stunner
Zac Lewis (Hendon United A) – Got off to a great season, scoring a superb hat-trick and could have had more – was a constant menace.
Sam McCarthy (Redbridge A) – In a holding midfield position, gave simple distribution, great positional sense and real passion in the tackle
Jonti Aremband (RC UK FC) – Man-of-the-match, scored four times, Real Hendon couldn’t handle him

ATTACK:
Joel Lassman (Catford & Bromley) – Described as being the best player on the pitch, unplayable on the pitch as he helped himself to a treble
Richard Fogelman (Faithfold B) – Marked his two-year absence from Jewish football with a quality hat-trick to inspire Greens to a winning start
