—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
Grant Waissel (Norstar London Raiders C) – A fourth clean sheet of the season, and although he didn’t have a lot of saves to make, he organised the defensive unit well from between the sticks

DEFENCE
Simon Bagel (SPEC) – Returned after a lengthy time out through injury and produced an excellent display
Jonny Samuel (Norstar London Raiders C) – Made some excellent tackles and lead by example, a true captain’s performance
Ben Grabiner (AC Mill Hill) – Outstanding at the heart of the Mill Hill defence and capped off wonderful performance by getting on the scoresheet
Gideon Chain (L’Equipe) – Part of an outstanding defence, with Chain highlighted as being ‘phenomenal’ by his manager

MIDFIELD:
Jonny Harris (London Haroldeans) – Superb for Haroldeans, controlled midfield, giving as good as he got against promotion-seeking Storm
David Rose (London Maccabi Lions Blue) – Put a man-of-the-match performance as he starred for the Lions in the centre of the park
Guy Marks (Camden Park) – Found the end product to match his fantastic dribbling, popped up with a much-needed last minute winner; emerging as a real candidate for player of the season.
Dave Sawyer (Temple Fortune) – Was outstanding in the heart of midfield for Fortune, didn’t lose a single header or tackle

ATTACK:
Josh Newman (Brady Maccabi B) – May not have been on the winning side, but was in imperious form as he grabbed a hat-trick in thrilling 3-3 draw
Zack Rich (Temple Fortune) – Playing the lone striker role, Fortune’s man-of-the-match was a real handful for 90 minutes, and a constant threat the Jewdinese back four

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
