—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
Yaakov Goldin (London Rovers) – Made a couple of outstanding saves, held on to every ball and never looked like being beaten

DEFENCE
Matthew Jaffa (Blizzard Storm) – The experience Storm player put in a solid performance down the left flank
Dan Howard (Faithfold A) – A fantastic performance at the heart of the Faithfold defence, rock-solid to frustrate Hendon and integral in inflicting their first loss in 18 months
Sam Castle (Harmen) – Seems to have settled comfortable into his new position having previously played as goalkeeper and striker and he led the line well
Dan Andrews (North West Neasden) – Called in late on Saturday night, came in at right-back, had one assist and was a rock in a make shift team first game great attitude

MIDFIELD:
Josh Hambling (Real Sosobad) – Outstanding performer for Sosobad as they claimed their first points of the season
Ben Joseph (Norstar London Raiders A) – Dominated the midfield, strong defensively and crucially excellent at driving his side forward time and time again.
Oli Nathan (Norstar London Raiders C) – The forever reliable midfielder was at his best once more. L’Equipe found it difficult to handle him, and he got a deserved goal for his efforts
Harry Franks (London Maccabi Lions Blue) – Popped up to score twice, and will according to his manager, be ‘fantastic all season’.

ATTACK:
Julius Judah (Athletic Bilbaum) – Player-manager scored a hat-trick on his debut up front, the third being a delightful chip
Adam Ellis (Shacharit Donetsk) – Stunning performance up front, scored five times to see his side comfortably through into the next round of the cup

MANAGER OF THE WEEK

PLAYER-MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Julius Judah (Athletic Bilbaum)
