—————————————————-

GOALKEEPER
Jake Doffman (Norstar London Raiders A) – Was excellent when called upon, a calming influence when his defence needed him most during the first 45 minutes

DEFENCE
Daniel Berg (Redbridge A) – Skipper led by example, was outstanding from start to finish in side’s top-of-the-table win over Norstar
Glen Turner (Hendon United B) – Moved into the centre of the defence when Hendon went 3-1 down, and they instantly looked more solid
Adam Hakimi (Redbridge A) – Rock-solid and produced, what his manager described as being, “one of the the best tackles I’ve ever seen”
Richard Gold (Redbridge B) – Was faultless at right-back, and then when shifted to left-back. Performance was capped by fine run and beautifully weighted cross for the decisive fourth goal

MIDFIELD:
Chaim Korman (Hendon United B) – Some ridiculous runs considering the state of the pitch. Several assists and was unlucky not to bag a couple of goals himself
Avi Korman (Hendon United A) – Very strong midfield performance full of energy strength and running
Ben Sollosi (Redbridge A) – Came back from holiday late on Saturday night, wasn’t fresh but continued his excellent goalscoring form from midfield with a Frank Lampard-esque strike
Greg Corin (Hendon United A) – In a tight match it required a typical piece of Corin magic to break the deadlock – which he did – as he ran the show in the second half

ATTACK:
Daniel Baneth (Camden Park) – Linked up play beautifully all day, was the hub of all our slick passing moves and scored a beautiful hat-trick. Perfect performance.
Saul Cohen (Hendon United B) – Scored four goals, enough said. A real handful all game, Donetsk couldn’t contain him on the ground or in the air.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Daniel Bergi (Redbridge A)

MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Sam Rosenthal (Redbridge A)
