Jewish student recovering after being stabbed 12 times on Primrose Hill

A Jewish student from JCoSS is recovering in hospital after being stabbed twelve times in an altercation on Primrose Hill on Tuesday. 

Police were called to the incident around 9.30pm and found the 16-year old boy suffering from stab wounds, including to the Year 12 student’s leg. His condition is described as “serious but stable” and he is understood to need surgery.

Officers said the boy was in the park with four female friends when he was attacked by four men, who were described as white. They were unknown to the student.

The attack is understood to have taken place near the Primrose Hill Road entrance to the park, and the road was closed to traffic between Ainger Road and Regent’s Park Road, with a heavy police presence in the area.

No arrests have been made and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact Central North Command Unit by dialling 101, via Twitter @MetCC or anonymously at Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The Community Security Trust tweeted: “CST has been in contact with Police and JCoSS following the stabbing of a pupil in Primrose Hill. This is not believed to be antisemitic.”
