Justin Bieber to play in Israel tomorrow

Canadian pop superstar takes to twitter ahead of his May 3 show in Tel Aviv

Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber sent supporters into meltdown today, as he announced Israel is next on his world ‘Purpose Tour.’

Bieber, 23, online announcement garnered more than 20,000 retweets, and led to reactions from supporters of the movement to boycotts of Israel.

The musician, who has more than 93 million followers on Twitter, is set to perform at Hayarkon Park on 3 May.

Other artists set to perform in the Jewish state include Aerosmith on 17 May, Britney Spears on 13 July, and Guns N’ Roses on 15 July.
